What is in our dental floss?

Our dental floss is designed and formulated by a dentist and contains only essential ingredients to help people to achieve cleaner teeth and fresher breath. TAKK Dental Floss has a well-balanced formula with hydroxyapatite coating and shred-resistant texture to clean all the plaque from your teeth. Our dental floss coating does not contain SLS, Alcohol, Parabens, Triclosan and PEG. The package of our dental floss is designed in a way that is very easy to cut the floss to be able to use the exact amount you need, and very practical to open and close to protect your floss.

All of our formulas are suitable for vegans, and we do not harm any animals in any part of our supply chain. We are currently in the process of registration with the leaping bunny certification to also ensure this with an audit of an independent organisation.

At TAKK, we are proud of our simplified supply and production chain which provides true environmental benefits. TAKK Dental Floss only travels to our warehouse from the production site before coming to your door, which significantly minimises the carbon footprint and the outer packaging waste. We use the most recyclable and one of the safest forms of plastic in our packaging. Besides the product packaging, we also made sure all of our outer packs and protective papers in the boxes are 100% recyclable.

At TAKK, we have local production first policy. However, we were not able to offer the quality we want to guarantee to our customers with local production. Therefore, our dental floss is one of the rare TAKK products that is imported. Still, produced in the closest possible destination within the EU to minimise our impact. That being said, we are committed to prioritising eco-friendliness of our products alongside with its highest quality. We are watching the innovation space to test eco-solutions and looking for ways to move our production to the UK.
