Using good quality shampoo in your personal care routine keeps your scalp and hair clean and moisturised. Washing your hair with shampoo is essential to achieve clean and healthy hair follicles. Why shampoo hair twice? Using 2 teaspoons of shampoo is enough to clean and moisturise your scalp. If your hair is long and/or textured you may wish to increase this amount. If your hair is very dry, using too much shampoo can remove the natural oils in your hair. Therefore, making sure you use just enough shampoo is crucial.

What is in our Shampoo?

The main purpose of using shampoo is hair cleansing. Hence, we developed a formula that contains only essential ingredients to help people to achieve brighter and healthier hair, scented by naturally fresh and aquatic scent. To achieve a lighter formula, our shampoo is developed based on different pH levels in water and suitable for every pH level. Our formula doesn’t contain palm oil, parabens, formaldehyde, or formaldehyde donors.

All of our formulas are suitable for vegans, and we do not harm any animals in any part of our supply chain. We are currently in the process of registration with the leaping bunny certification to also ensure this with an audit of an independent organization.

At TAKK, we are proud of our simplified supply and production chain which provides true environmental benefits. TAKK Shampoo is produced in Derbyshire and only travels to our warehouse before coming to your door, which significantly minimises the carbon footprint and the outer packaging waste. We use the most recyclable and one of the safest forms of plastic (Type2) in our packaging. Besides the product packaging, we also made sure all of our outer packs and protective papers in the boxes are 100% recyclable.

At TAKK, we source every single packaging item within the UK. For the ingredients, 78.9% of our shampoo ingredients are sourced within the UK. We aim to reach 100% local sourcing for our ingredients, and for this, we work on alternative formulations and reaching new ingredient suppliers.
